CHAPTER TWELVE

spells

Jaehan

I didn’t want Billy to go to work, but he slipped out quickly and quietly before I had the chance to argue.

I was in the nest, sore and sleepy. I wasn’t sure what time it was, but I kept falling back asleep and then waking up.

Last night had been a nightmare and a dream. A hellish pleasure that I wanted to experience all over again.

Both Billy and Charlie were monsters. Beings that had hunted me in the forest. I had never run that fast before, and they had still caught me with ease.

I thought back to the feeling of Charlie’s tentacle inside of my cock. I never thought something like that would feel good. It had stung at first, but then there had been a searing pleasure in knowing that he was inside of me.

Then there were both of Billy’s cocks. I’d never taken anything that big before, but it had been worth it.

The two of them were perfect for me.

“Hello,” Charlie said, nuzzling me.

We were spooning, his arms wrapped around me. It was warm, the room cool and dark. The curtains were drawn and I liked that we were surrounded by Billy’s things.

“Hi,” I whispered, closing my eyes again.

“Billy said that there is food for breakfast. I can try to cook something, but I’m not sure what. Whatever you want today, I will make happen.”

“Can you make Billy come home?” I asked.

“Aside from that,” he said, his voice gentle.

My eyes teared up for a moment and I wasn’t even sure why. I knew he had to work, and then in a way he was going so that he could protect us. He wanted to keep up with everything that was going on, but it still hurt my feelings that he wasn’t here.

Charlie made a noise. “My love, he will return later today. What else can I do for you?”

“I don’t know,” I said, palming away a tear. “My emotions are all over the place today.”

“That’s okay,” Charlie said. “It’s okay.”

I nodded and he turned me over. I buried my face into his chest, breathing in his scent. It was calming, the only thing that could actually calm me right now.

“What if they take him?” I whispered.

“They won’t,” Charlie said.

“You don't know that,” I whispered. “They took me and I’m strong. My magic is strong, Charlie.”

“I know it is,” he murmured. “I know you are, my love. I’ve never seen you as weak. I never will.”

“I’m worried I just found both of you and everything will get taken away again. What if it happens and I can’t help?”

“You aren’t alone,” Charlie said. “Remember? You have me. You have the office. Inferna and Art and Calen are good, even though you’ve just met them. Anne, Alex, Lora, Mich, and Cinder. All of them are good. If something happens to Billy, we won’t be alone. You won't be trapped again.”

I made a noise, squeezing my eyes shut. “What if I’m too broken now?”

“They never broke you. They hurt you, but you didn’t break.
